Known Crash Hashes

Quick answer

A three-word crash hash identifies a code location in one specific game build, not a root cause. The hashes below have been reproduced by exhausting clothing collection capacity, which makes them a strong hint and never a proof.

Difficulty: Reference · Affects: LEGACY · COMMONLY ASSOCIATED WITH, reproduced by disabling clothing YMTs

b2545The Contractzebra-east-berlin
b2944San Andreas Mercenarieslow-cola-sweet
b3095The Chop Shopiowa-beryllium-missouri

Builds after b3095 produce different hashes for the same underlying condition. The absence of your build from this table means nothing has been catalogued for it, not that your crash is unrelated.

How to use a hash

As a tiebreaker, not as a diagnosis:

  1. If your build and hash match a row above, capacity is a strong candidate — go and count YMTs.
  2. If they do not match, the hash tells you nothing useful. Use Crash Diagnosis.
  3. Either way, confirm with a count or a build revert before changing anything.

WARNING

Matching a hash from a different build proves nothing. b3570 is not b1604, and the same three words on a different build point at different code.

Not clothing capacity

Some hashes are associated with pool problems instead, including crashes caused by setting pool sizes too high. If you recently raised increase_pool_size, revert that change before investigating clothing — see Pool Sizes.

Numeric offsets such as (0xf) alongside a hash are not evidence of a specific cause either.
