Legacy vs Enhanced

FiveM for GTA V Enhanced is a separate client and server platform, not a newer build of Legacy. Asset Escrow is not implemented on it yet, so escrow-protected clothing packs stay on Legacy for now.

What this means for clothing packs
DANGER
An escrow-protected clothing pack cannot be converted for Enhanced. Alchemist cannot decrypt escrow, and Cfx has not shipped escrow for the platform. Protected content stays on Legacy until that changes.
If your pack ships as open files, Alchemist converts the asset types clothing uses: YDR, YTD, YFT, YPT, YDD. Note that YMT is not in that list.
- The Alchemist GUI fails and stops the whole conversion the moment it hits an escrowed asset.
- The Alchemist CLI skips escrowed assets and lists them in its report.
So point the CLI at a resource tree that mixes protected and open content, and convert the open parts only.
Capacity on Enhanced
Enhanced loads the latest Rockstar DLC. There is no "go back to b3095 for more room" option — the only alternative is sv_enforceGameBuild 1, which removes all DLC content entirely.
WARNING
Do not copy the Legacy slot table onto Enhanced as fact. The DLC pressure is the same in principle, but nobody has published a measured per-gender count for Enhanced, and we have not measured one either. Equally, do not repeat the claim that Enhanced has zero add-on slots — that is NOT CONFIRMED.
Before you migrate
- Do not move a production server while any paid clothing depends on escrow.
- Convert open assets with the Alchemist CLI and keep the report.
- Test both genders and the full clothing menu, exactly as on a normal install.
- Keep the Legacy server available to roll back to.
